  • 3/11 Honors DEIJ Summit & International Night

The Honors DEIJ Reflections & Connections Summit on March 11th, 2-8pm in the Rome Ballroom will feature an interactive event by Honors DEI, Honors for Diversity, Honors Council, and Honors Student Leadership Board-Stamford. We will break down what “DEI” really means and encourage audience members to reflect on their new understandings of the implications of DEI by evaluating the roles of these ideas in higher education, specifically in environments such as the university’s Honors Program.

International Night is an event where we bring together different cultural groups on campus to perform and promote diversity and awareness of other cultures. In an effort to celebrate our cultural differences and similarities, the Honors Community will be hosting a night full of food, interactive performances, and games from around the world. The ultimate goal of this event is to highlight the diversity of this campus and foster connections between groups in the Honors community, the UConn community, and beyond!
