  • Whitney Road: Closed to Thru Traffic

    Work on the Whitney Road Steam Improvements will be starting the week of February 24th. This project will improve reliability and will upgrade the campus steam system. With this work there will be disruptions in the areas of Arjona, Montieth and Bousfield. Disruptions include a portion of Whitney Road being closed and pedestrian walkways being detoured. The portion of Whitney Road is expected to be closed during the week of March 3rd.  Items of special significance during this work. 
    1. Whitney Road Ext will be converted to two-way traffic to allow the western end of Whitney Road to function. 
    2. Whitney Road between Arjona and Montieth will remain open to local traffic (no thru traffic) 
    3. With the exception of the few spaces on Whitney road within the work area all parking will be available. 
    4. All accessible spaces will remain available
    5. All egress doors from buildings will remain open. Temporary pathways will be installed as required. Only walkways that are required for the work to take place will be closed.
