Research, Funding, and Awards

  • Grant to Develop US-UK Virtual Exchange Course

The application period is now open for the US-UK Fulbright Commission's Global Challenges Teaching Awards. These awards support pairs of faculty, one from the US and one from the UK, to develop and co-deliver a virtual exchange course that addresses critical global challenges in any of the following themes:

    • Climate Action
    • Health Inequality
    • Disinformation and Misinformation
    • Peace and Justice

Grantees will participate in the AAC&U's Institute on Virtual Exchange/COIL, which provides tools, resources, and professional development needed to design and implement high-quality virtual exchange courses.

Applicants apply individually, so it is not necessary to apply alongside a UK collaborator, though applicants with an existing UK collaborator may reference them in their application. Applications are due on March 10, 2025.
