Mark your calendar for May 14th!
May Day of Learning: Assessment & Design in Focus

Mark your calendar! The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL), Office of Academic Program Assessment (OAPA), and the Common Curriculum Committee (CCC) are collaborating to offer a full-day of professional development and collaboration, combining three annual events (Assessment Institute, Course Design Retreat, and May Day).

Plan to spend Wednesday, May 14, 2025, with colleagues as you learn from peers, engage in discussions, and keep the momentum going for many of our large-scale teaching, learning, and assessment initiatives. The jam-packed day will provide something for everyone. Are you looking to define learning objectives, measure student mastery of learning objectives within your undergraduate or graduate academic program or the Common Curriculum, access and use undergraduate and graduate institutional data, create efficiencies in data collection from courses and programs, maximize the use of Blackboard for assessment data collection, discuss the use of AI in courses? This is the event for you! These and many more topics related to teaching, learning, and assessment will be presented at this event. In addition to numerous professional development offerings, this event will provide opportunities for collaboration and team time.

More details will be coming soon but be sure to mark your calendar for May 14th. This is an event you won’t want to miss.
