Scholarly Colloquia and Events

  • Common Curriculum Teaching Kick-Off

Join us for the Common Curriculum virtual kickoff at 2:30-3:30 on Monday, January 27th and Tuesday, January 28th. The Common Curriculum—UConn's incoming general education framework—is designed to give students the skills to confront the multifaceted challenges of the 21st century. Whether you're teaching a course in the new curriculum or simply want to learn more about its components, this workshop will highlight the choices, connections, and creativity inherent in the new curriculum. Furthermore, this workshop will use Reflective Structured Dialogue to open up conversations about the new Common Curriculum.

The kickoff events are at 2:30-3:30pm on Monday, January 27th and Tuesday, January 28th. The workshop content is the same each day, so while you're welcome to attend both, one will probably do.
