With mixed emotions I share with you that Annette Pavone, Manager of Capitalization and Inventory Control in the Accounting Office, has accepted the Controller position at the CT State Colleges & Universities System Office. Her last day of work at UConn is Thursday, January 23, 2025.
Annette has been an integral part of the Accounting Office and University community for over 18 years. During her tenure, Annette has played a key role in the University regarding capital assets, has served as UConn's functional subject matter expert for Kuali Financials, has been a lead presenter representing Accounting for training initiatives including the Fiscal Institute for Training (FIT), and has built critical working relationships with staff across various departments at the University.
While she will be missed here at UConn, we are excited for Annette and this next chapter of her career. I, along with everyone else on our team, am very appreciative of all she has done for the Office of the Controller. Thank you and all the best, Annette!
A farewell reception will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 1-3pm in the Budds Building second floor conference room. Please join me in wishing Annette continued success in her new role and thanking her for her steady, collegial leadership and excellent service to the university.
