Dear Colleagues,
Human Resources and Transformative Leadership Strategies (TLS) will offer in-person professional development on the Storrs campus that will cover the following topics on leadership skills: Leadership 101; Core Values; Emotional Intelligence; Creating Balance; Communicate to Drive Action; Being a ‘Coach-like’ Leader; Give Constructive Feedback; and Build Team Trust.
We recommend this program for both new and experienced supervisors and managers who have an interest in honing their leadership skills. Employees interested in foundational leadership skills will also benefit from this program.
TLS will offer two additional cohorts of the program this spring. Each cohort will consist of two 6-hour sessions. The total cost to participate is expected to be $287 (the total cost may vary depending on the total number of participants, but it will likely not exceed $360). There is a 26-person limit for each cohort.
The following cohorts are open for spring 2025:
March 2025 (All Sessions from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
- Session 1: Wednesday, March 19
- Session 2: Wednesday, March 26
April 2025 (All Sessions from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
- Session 1: Thursday, April 3
- Session 2: Thursday, April 10
