REDCap Maintenance: Due to the Christmas holiday and additional system updates that need to be conducted, REDCap will have TWO maintenance windows this month.
1) REDCap maintenance is scheduled for Thursday, December 12 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. During this time, ONLY the Production system will be unavailable so that the REDCap PROD server components can be upgraded. This extended downtime is necessary to accommodate the more complex process required for these important upgrades. The Development system will NOT be affected.
2) REDCap maintenance is scheduled for Thursday, December 19 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. During this time, BOTH the Production and Development systems will be unavailable for routine patches, bug fixes, and security updates.
Duo Authentication Reminder: Important change to Duo coming in December for those connecting to UConn Health systems remotely. You will no longer be able to receive a phone call or SMS text confirmation and must rely on your Duo smartphone application. If you are unable to use the smartphone application, please contact the Service Desk immediately for assistance.
REDCap Support: We are unable to provide support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. REDCap support is ONLY available during normal business hours/days Monday through Friday. Please note, U.S. holidays will also impact our availability. During off-hours, we are unable to approve project changes, move projects to production, manage account access, or respond to email inquiries. For emergency issues, such as server down or system errors, please call the Help Desk at 860-679-4400.
