Barry Zitser is a longtime Connecticut attorney, who has held various municipal and State positions, such as Connecticut Consumer Counsel in utility matters. In private practice, he has been involved in a number of recycling and solid waste management enforcement actions as an outside attorney for the former Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority. He obtained his MPH degree in 1997, and has been an adjunct instructor in the Department of Public Health Sciences and its predecessor. In his second home in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, he volunteers time to his Bethlehem community on zero waste initiatives and environmental sustainability matters.
