Maintaining momentum on your dissertation or graduate writing projects can be difficult, but making a commitment to structured writing time can help. Writing in the presence of others brings a sense of solidarity and productivity that can help get you through the complex challenges of large projects. This two-day retreat hosted by the UConn Writing Center provides graduate students with an opportunity to discover or maintain their motivation, provide accountability, and generate a sense of support for their work. It is a non-instructional event, and designed to act as a space for focus, informal collaboration, and judgement-free feedback. Lunch and other refreshments will be provided. Participants can register for one or both days and come and go as they please.
