Seminar Title: Intellectual Property and UConn Technology Commercialization Services

Dr. Conners is the Director of Licensing for Life Sciences for the University of Connecticut’s Technology Commercialization Services (TCS). He helps to oversee the Life Science portfolio for the University, and is responsible for technology evaluation, intellectual property protection strategy, technology marketing, and commercial partnership development. He also supervises the TCS internship program. He is a technology transfer professional with nearly a decade of experience. He holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Florida, as well as a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of South Florida. His research background is on biomaterials, specifically focused in nanomaterials for drug delivery applications.
