Can you believe that we are celebrating CRT’s 75th Season this year? (Honestly, we don’t feel a day over 30.) This season brings the classic and the contemporary, worlds of imagination and curiosity, and heart-warming and hilarious characters. We think you’ll love it! Here's what's coming up:

    THE MOORS

    By Jen Silverman

    Directed by Kristen Palmer

October 10-20, 2024, Nafe Katter Theatre

Two sisters and a dog live out their lives on the bleak English moors, dreaming of love and power. The arrival of a hapless governess and a moor-hen set all three on a strange and dangerous path. The Moors is a dark comedy about love, desperation, and visibility.

THE OLD MAN AND THE OLD MOON

Book, Music & Lyrics by PigPen Theater Company

    Directed by Matt Sorensen

November 14-23, 2024, Harriet Jorgensen Theatre

An imaginative sea-faring epic, encompassing apocalyptic storms, civil wars, leviathans of the deep, and cantankerous ghosts, as well as the fiercest obstacle of all: change. The Old Man and The Old Moon tells the epic tale of an old man who must abandon his duties of filling up the moon with liquid light to cross the seas in search of his missing wife. A gloriously puppet-forward musical for every generation to enjoy.

    POCATELLO

    By Samuel D. Hunter

    Directed by Paul Mullins

    March 27 - April 6, 2025, Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre

Eddie manages an Italian chain restaurant in Pocatello – a small, unexceptional American city that is slowly being paved over with strip malls and franchises. But he can’t serve enough soup, salad & breadstick specials to make his hometown feel like home. Against the harsh backdrop of Samuel D. Hunter’s Idaho, this heartbreaking comedy is a cry for connection in an increasingly lonely American landscape.

    MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING

    By William Shakespeare

    Directed by Vince Tycer

    April 24 - May 4, 2025, Nafe Katter Theatre

Shakespeare returns to the CRT stage with the sassy rom-com Much Ado About Nothing. Don Pedro, Claudio, and Benedick have arrived in Messina after a decisive victory on the battlefield. Claudio falls for their host’s daughter, Hero, while Benedict falls into a battle of wits with Hero’s cousin, Beatrice. Beatrice and Benedict want nothing of love, but their friends have another idea.  Replete with hijinks, intrigue, mistaken identity, and a conniving ne’er-do-well, this delightful comedy is the most fun you can have onstage without swords.
