  • Enrolling Participants: Chronic Low Back Pain

    PARTICIPANTS NEEDED for a Research study! 

    PATH (Physical Activity To Heal Back Pain  (IRB:#H19-191) study will evaluate the benefits of movement exercise for someone who experiences back pain.  

    Contact us if you are:   

    • Male or female, 18 years or older  

    • With low back pain 

    • Willing to participate in 12 weeks of movement exercise plus 5 in-person assessments at UConn Storrs or UConn Health in Farmington (approximately 10 months of involvement overall)  

    All participants will receive $70 following baseline, six and twelve-week (post-intervention) and three- and six-month follow-up assessments, with an additional $50 for those who complete all five sessions (possible total of $400). You will also receive a free exercise intervention, typically valued at $360 or more.
