We will discuss the affordances of, and objectives for, group activities during class (informal group work) and longer-term group projects within a semester (formal groups).
• Become aware of options for structuring group activities during class
• Discuss design of longer-term collaborative assignments
• Share ideas for addressing challenges, including free riders, conflict, and assessment
• Share what’s on your mind
