    Dr. Alerte is the Associate Dean for Primary Care and a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He is also the Co-Director of the Delivery of Clinical Care Course at the school. Dr. Alerte completed his medical education and residency at the University of Connecticut. He has focused his academic work in curricular development on topics such as simulation training, clinical skills, adolescent medicine, disabilities education and racial disparities in medicine.
