The UConn Immigration Rights Initiative (UIRI) is hosting a paint night fundraiser on the evening of Thursday, May 23rd to support the CT Immigrant & Refugee Coalition (CIRC)’s efforts to resettle and integrate refugee families within our state’s communities. Come socialize with us, be inspired by artwork by artists who are/were refugees, paint the evening away, all while supporting a good cause! No prior painting experience is required.
All are welcome (students, faculty, staff, family, friends) – we ask you to donate at least $12 per person and sign up here by Friday, May 10th!!
What: UIRI Paint Night Fundraiser for CIRC
When: Thursday, May 23rd, 6:30-8:30 PM
Where: Massey Auditorium, UConn Health, Farmington
Materials: We will provide paint supplies to all those signed up to attend.
If you cannot attend the event, but would like to support our fundraiser for CIRC, your donation alone is welcome!!!
NOTE: if we do not receive sufficient sign-ups, the paint night event will be canceled and 100% of all donated funds will be donated to CIRC directly. You will be notified accordingly, with the option to be refunded if you’d prefer that.
