    The Connecticut State Colleges & Universities (CSCU) Accessibility Advisory Council is excited to announce the 2nd annual CSCU Accessibility Summit. This in-person event will be held on May 17th, 2024, at Central Connecticut State University. CSCU has generously extended invitations to UConn staff and faculty.

    This year’s Summit theme is Inclusion. The one-day summit is designed for all faculty and staff wishing to incorporate digital accessibility and inclusion best practices into their daily routines.

    The Keynote Speaker is the very talented concert pianist and vocalist Jason Castonguay, who has been blind from birth. Jason is also a CCSU graduate! Breakout session presentations include AI & Accessibility, Website Accessibility, UDL for Online Learning, Using Blackboard Ally, Supporting Students with Autism, along with a Student Panel and DEI & Accessibility Panel Discussion!

    Registration for the CSCU Accessibility Summit is now open. Please note breakfast and lunch are included! We kindly ask you to save the date on your calendar and share this notice with any interested colleagues.
