Blackboard Ultra Hands-On Course Development Training
    May 10, 11:00-2:00
    SHH 408
    Presenter: Jordan Vinikoor, CETL-EdTech

During 2024 and 2025, courses on UConn's HuskyCT/Blackboard platform are transitioning to the new Ultra Course View (UCV) with a near-term goal of having all 1000- and 2000-level courses using UCV for Fall 2024. As part of UConn’s ongoing training and support programming for faculty and staff, CETL and the Educational Technologies Office invites you to an interactive hands-on learning and work session on Blackboard Ultra Course View.

    This in-person session will feature:

    1. Training on Ultra conversion and course design best practices

    2. Complimentary lunch, provided by CETL

    3. Dedicated time for attendees to work on their course with the assistance of available support staff.

Participants should come prepared with at least one of the following:
    1) A clear idea of which course(s) they intend to transition and teach in Ultra Course View for Fall 2024 AND have at least one UCV course shell in HuskyCT
    OR
    2) Have already converted their Fall 2024 course into the Ultra Course View with a need to learn how to reorganize/clean-up content.
