DNP candidate Kathlen Shankar successfully presented the findings of her DNP Project on April 18.
The title of the project is: “A Needs Assessment Project for Preoperative Patients Undergoing Gynecologic/Oncology Surgery to Identify Low Health Literacy and Inform Best Practices in Patient Education Materials”.
Her committee is composed of Dr. Anna Bourgault (Major Advisor), Dr. Joy Elwell (Associate Advisor), and Dr. Paul Quinn (Mentor).
