Research Integrity & Compliance (RIC) staff will be holding an information session for faculty and students who are new to the IRB submission process or would like to learn more about human subjects research.
This session will begin with an introduction of the human subjects regulations and other applicable policies as they relate to the content and preparation of protocol submissions to the IRB. RIC staff will review when research needs to be reviewed by the IRB, provide examples of the 4 categories of review and requirements of informed consent. RIC staff will be available to answer questions about individual research studies or general questions related to the IRB.
