  • UConn Student Group Wins Activism Award

    Whether it be helping to raise over $25,000 for Connecticuts abortion fund through coast to coast last summer, having seven medical students trained as abortion doulas to support patients seeking care in CT through the Wesleyan Doula Project, or partnering with Reproductive Equity Now to help students and faculty testify at the CT state legislature this spring, the UConn chapter of Medical Students for Choice has been busy this year! To honor their activism and their accomplishments, they have been nominated for an won the Ellen Paradise Fisher Award for activism in Action at the Reproductive Equity Now annual gala in Boston, MA.
