McDonald Reading Room of the Archives & Special Collections, Dodd Center for Human Rights from 6-8pm, on Monday April 8th to hear a discussion with alumni who organized the Black student sit-in of 1974 which will be moderated by current UConn students. This program is in conjunction with the African American Cultural Center featuring the archives exhibition Please Respond Personally: Commemorating the 1974 Black Student Sit-In.
Light refreshments will be served and a donation drive table will be on hand to collect clothing and toiletries for a village in the Congo.
