UConn Assessment Institute, Wed, May 15th, Student Union Ballroom
As UConn’s assessment initiative enters its 4th year, the institute continues to expand its offerings to meet the diverse assessment needs of academic programs. With the expansion of assessment activities into the graduate program space, programming will include undergraduate and graduate focused sessions, in addition to our keynote presentation by Peggy Maki, author of Assessing for Learning. As UConn continues its transition to the Common Curriculum and its work in undergraduate assessment of student learning, multiple breakout sessions will be offered to guide attendees in alignment of objectives and assessments, exit surveys, rubrics, data from institutional research, and universal design for learning. These sessions will also be of interest to graduate programs, along with discussions about graduate assessment at peer institutions and collaborative space for drafting institution- or college-level graduate learning objectives. Please complete the registration form to assist us in planning breakout session and ordering catering. If you or others have any questions, please feel free to reach out to assessment@uconn.edu.
