Expanding Action for Environmental Justice
Description: The history of environmental justice is long and full of rich lessons of triumph. However, as a society we still struggle to prioritize people and planet and realize synergistic benefits between the two. In this workshop, Joe Fullerton will highlight ongoing work in the field and highlight opportunities for action at UConn and beyond. The goal is to engage and empower participants to act on environmental justice issues no matter their background, major or career aspirations.
