  • 3/27 How to Teach the Korean War

After three years of armed conflict, the Korean Armistice Agreement was signed on July 27, 1953, by military commanders from the United States representing the United Nations Command, the Korean People’s Army, and Chinese People’s Volunteer Army. But a peace treaty was never signed to this date.

Three scholars discuss how to teach the Korean War and share lesson plans offering critical context and discussion questions. Join us in thinking about this unending war and its reverberations to the present.
