A screenig of "Sama in the Forest" on Monday March 25, 3:30 in the Class of 1947 room, Homer Babbidge Library. Produced by Professor Coralynn Davis of Bucknell University and edited by Carlos Gòmez, the film is a hybrid documentary set in Mithila, India, where a rich cultural identity extends from the mythical past into a globalized present in which pressures on tradition are accelerating.
Professor Davis will be present for a discussion following the film.
