Have you ever struggled with making sense of student learning data? Are you unsure how this data can inform teaching and learning? If so, this workshop is for you. We'll begin with an introduction to the HuskyCT assessment software, EAC Visual Data, which all instructors have access to. Next will be a demonstration walking participants through accessing and exploring statistical reports. There will be time for Q&A.
As a result of completing this workshop, participants will be able to:
• Comprehend EAC Visual Data as an assessment platform and how it uses course data in HuskyCT to generate both course and program reports/statistical analysis
• Access EAC through a HuskyCT course
• Correctly set parameters for getting the desired Test, Rubric, and/or Goals Reports
• Analyze and synthesize EAC report’s statistical data and information
• Brainstorm ways in which data might inform needed changes for increased student success
• Better comprehend an assessment’s reliability and validity based on EAC’s statistical analysis
• Apply instructions for downloading reports from EAC
All who are interested are welcome to attend, including Instructors, Program Leads, Department Chairs, Graduate Assistants, and Staff that help with program assessment in various departments.
