Note: This announcement pertains to all UConn staff with a UConn Google Workspace account who did not opt out by the 2/23 deadline. Those impacted also received a direct email from ITS.
Starting today, March 4th, ITS is beginning the final migration of files from Google Drive to OneDrive. During this process:
- Don’t touch your Google Drive.
- Don’t touch the GDrive folder in OneDrive.
You may view your Google Drive files and continue to use all other folders in your OneDrive.
ITS will send you a message when your migration is done; it may take multiple days. Once you receive this message, you may safely access and modify the files in the GDrive folder in your OneDrive.
Your Google Workspace account will be deleted on April 30, 2024. You will be able to view files until this date but cannot create new ones.
