  • Cardiometabolic Risk Study: Participants Needed

    What is this study about?

    We want to understand lifestyle factors in college that impact metabolic health.

    You may qualify if you meet the following requirements:
    ● Have access to a phone, computer, or internet connection.
    ● Sex assigned at birth is female
    ● Enrolled at the University of Connecticut (~ages 18-25)
    ● Able to have your blood drawn

    What will I have to do?
    The research study will take place on the University of Connecticut’s Storrs campus and
    there will be three parts to this study that will include two in person visits. You will be
    asked to complete screenings/surveys and you will be asked to come to campus for two in
    person visits. During these visits, we will take your body composition measurements
    (such as height, weight, waist circumference, and body fat percentage), we will take your
    blood pressure, and we will draw your blood. Participation will take about 1-2 hours
    during both in person visits, scheduled at your convenience.

    You will be compensated for this study.
