Sewing for Resistance is an interactive two-part Zoom workshop exploring the Museum’s collection of arpilleras.
Join Benton educators for an interactive two-part workshop exploring the Museum’s collection of arpilleras, brightly-colored patchwork pictures that chronicle the lives of the poor and oppressed in Chile during the 1970s and 1980s. Learn more about arpilleras through close looking and discussion. Then design and construct an arpillera-inspired notecard.
