The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) supports students who are applying for a Summer Undergraduate Research Fund (SURF) award for summer 2024. SURF is a faculty reviewed award program and the application has several different elements. Please encourage your undergraduate researchers to schedule a 1:1 appointment with an OUR advisor. We are happy to review draft materials (proposal, budget, timeline, short answer questions) with students. Materials should be shared with OUR at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment time in order to allow us time to complete a thorough review prior to the appointment. Materials can be sent via email to our@Uconn.edu. Note: The SURF deadline is 11:59pm on Monday, January 29th.
