  • Reminder: Vacation Carryover

    Management and Confidential Employees

As a reminder, in accordance with applicable policy, management or confidential employees with more than 60 vacation days may seek carryover approval from their manager and the appropriate Division Head (President, Provost, CFO).  Under no circumstances are management or confidential employees able to carryover more than 120 vacation days (the state limit). Carryover requests can be submitted using the Vacation Carryover Management/Confidential - Kuali Build form on Payroll’s website after pay period ending 1/11/24 and must include the vacation overage as of the close of business on 12/31/23.

    UCPEA

As a reminder, in accordance with Article 6 of the UCPEA contract, UCPEA employees with more than 60 vacation days may seek approval for a one-time carryover from a University Vice President, Director or designee.  Employees who do not utilize their one-time carryover approval will forfeit any vacation days in excess of 60. Employees who have already used their one-time carryover approval will have their vacation balances reviewed and adjusted in accordance with the contract.  Carryover requests can be submitted through the Vacation Carryover UCPEA - Kuali Build form on Payroll’s website after period ending 1/11/24 and must include the vacation overage as of the close of business on 12/31/23.
