The UConn Center for Career Development has created this webinar that provides information about resources for employment and experiential opportunities for undocumented students. You will find information that could be shared with students about ways to earn income as an undocumented individual, such as starting their own business, and resources to help them get started. In addition, information regarding unpaid opportunities to gain experience, such as shadowing and unpaid internships, is also available.
This webinar also highlights several resources that the UConn Center for Career Development offers to undocumented/DACAmented students such as the Undocumented Students Affinity Community, career coaching, resume critiques, and practice interviews, which will help prepare them for their future career endeavors. Furthermore, information regarding the “Internship on Scholarship” program is provided, which is available to all UConn departments to provide internships for undocumented students.
