The Martha and Albert Cohen Scholarship for Enhancing Community Award is Open through January 4th, 2024. This scholarship was established in 1990 by the compassionate Husky, Stephen Cohen. In the loving memory of his parents, Stephen Cohen forged a legacy of support for students actively combating and eliminating bigotry, prejudice, and discrimination. His bequest in 2017 elevated the Cohen Scholarship, ensuring its perpetual impact on the UConn community.
- Full-time UConn undergraduate student with work/service or initiatives that seek to eliminate discrimination. Open to all UConn campuses.
- Must be an active member in an active registered student organization (RSO) at UConn (Tiers 1, 2, or 3).
- The activity, service, or initiative must be tied to the RSO the student is a member of
- Demonstrate financial need
- In good academic standing
