The University’s Surplus Property Policy and Procedures explains how to dispose of surplus, unused and/or unserviceable equipment and supplies. Proper disposal of University property is required pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes. Central Stores will determine whether items sent to surplus will be discarded or recycled to the University. Under no circumstances may University property be thrown out without a completed Form ACT-39.
