We are excited to introduce the inaugural Pumpkin Palooza at UConn. This popular UConn Health tradition will make its debut at UConn tomorrow, October 24th, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Student Union Terrace and Online. Our pumpkin-decorating competition is a great time to be had by all!
We encourage faculty and staff to join in on the fun in three ways:
Enter an In-Person Pumpkin: Decorate a pumpkin as a department, team, or individual and drop off your pumpkin creation for all to see. Entries will be accepted from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on the Student Union Terrace.
Enter a Virtual Pumpkin: Decorate a pumpkin - assistance from friends and family allowed - then submit a photo or video entry. Submissions can be uploaded starting today until 10:30 a.m. day of event.
VOTE: Come to the Student Union Terrace from 11am – 1pm on Tuesday, October 24th for a Pumpkin Palooza Showcase to view and vote on the in-person creations. Then head to the Padlet below to view and vote on the online creations! Vote for as many pumpkins as you’d like.
Also, at the Pumpkin Palooza event we’ll have fall treats and fun, including a Pet Therapy dog from Tails of Joy.
