As a National Academy of Inventors member institution, UConn has the opportunity to celebrate the rising stars of innovation in our community by nominating early-stage inventors to the NAI Senior Members Program. Nominations for the NAI Class of 2024 will be open October 1, 2023 through December 29, 2023.
The new class of Senior Members will be announced in February 2024, and will be invited to attend the Senior Member Induction Ceremony at the Annual Conference, June 16-18, 2024, in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Below is an overview of the criteria for the nomination process for this inventor recognition opportunity.
Nomination Criteria:
- Nominee must be part of an NAI Member Institution
- Nominee must be a professional in academia or at a non-profit research institution for at least 7 years
- Must hold at least one issued U.S. patent that has been licensed/commercialized OR possess 5 or more issued U.S. patents
