I am pleased to announce that after a national search with many internal and external candidates, Margaret “Peggy” McCarthy has accepted the position of Associate Vice President of Financial Operations and Controller. Peggy has served as our Interim AVP of Financial Operations and Controller since September 2022. Peggy’s long tenure at the University brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this position having served the University since 2007 and then as the University Bursar in 2013 overseeing a number of areas including cash operations, disbursements, billing, accounts receivable, treasury functions, and more.
We are very excited to have her continue to bring her skills and experience to lead this important area of the University. Please extend congratulations to Peggy in her new role.
