Join us for next week for two virtual training sessions on UConn’s J-1 visa program specifically for UConn Faculty and Staff hosting visiting research scholars, visiting research students, student interns and postdocs on J-1 visas. Part 1 will cover overview of the J-1 Visa program including the guiding principles, our roles and the rules we are expected to follow as an institution. Part 2 will cover the online request process in the UConn Scholar/Employee Portal and will take a more hands-on approach to ‘how’ to submit your J-1 visa requests.
