We are enrolling parents with preschool-age children (3 to 5 years old) for a UConn School of Nursing research study. The purpose of this study is to better understand the relationship between stress, sleep, and health in families with young children. Participation involves completing surveys, wearing a sleep monitoring wristwatch for 8-10 days, and a health assessment (completed at home). Participants may also complete an optional video interview. The surveys will consist of questions about sleep, stress, mental health, parenting, and family relationships.
Participants will receive up to $100 for completing the study. This study is completed online and at home, and no travel is required. This study was approved by the IRB, Protocol HR21-0097.
Criteria:
- Caregiver with a child age 3-5 years
- Caregiver is not currently pregnant
- Fluent in English or Spanish
