    Target Audience:  Faculty, staff, residents, and students interested in clinical research. 

    Learning Objectives: Participants will (be able to):  1). Summarize the history of opioid use; 2) Describe how opioid tolerance can increase the risk of overdose; 3) Explain potential ways to mitigate these risks; 4) Determine the need for clinical trials to validate hypotheses.
