Who: We are looking for driven, creative, and explorative students to join the upcoming cohort of the Werth Innovators program. Werth Innovators (in Track 1) propose and work on an impactful project during the summer of 2024 as a full-time, 10-week paid $4k internship with ongoing opportunities and network growth. Community building activities and events take place beginning October 2023 and weekly internship preparation meetings take place during the spring semester of 2024. Successful participation leads to a $3k scholarship during sophomore year.
What: The Werth Innovators program is dedicated to developing new leaders within UConn’s entrepreneurial ecosystem! The Track 1 for women creates accessibility to entrepreneurial programs and mentorship for students who are traditionally underrepresented within the field of entrepreneurship. Personalized resources and support is provided to accelerate student development and transform interests into behaviors.
Why: As a Werth Innovator, you will have access to a network of successful entrepreneurs and leaders and become part of a unique community of students who are building an entrepreneurial mindset. You'll be provided the tools and environment to work on a problem you are passionate about creating testable solutions to. You'll have access to exclusive experiences, activities and trips all geared toward empowering you to bring your idea to life!
