As construction continues to support the New South Residence Hall, utility work will be taking place along the grass area near Mirror Lake closest to RT 195/Mansfield Road intersection and will be crossing Route 195 with the deep excavation to tie into the utilities in the road. Sidewalk detours and road detours will be in place to route vehicles and pedestrians away from the construction to a safe pathway. We ask that everyone use caution as you approach these areas.
This work will be taking place as early as September 19th and continue through SEPTEMBER 29th for both areas: 1) Utility trench/installation on Mirror Lake grass area and 2) Crossing Rt 195 to tie in utilities in the road.
The work in the road (RT 195) is anticipated to take 5 days - 3 days on one side of the road, and 2 days on the other side of the road, essentially, ONE lane closure at a time. Please use caution as you approach these areas and follow the detour signs for your safety.
