Demonstrating impact in the field is an important part of a researcher's scholarly work. At this ISA workshop, learn about the importance of updating author profiles on multiple citation indexes such as Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. Content of the workshop is applicable to many disciplines but will focus on social science resources. Other topics that will be covered include an explanation of citation indexes and bibliometrics, the h-index and why it differs on various platforms, ORCID, Altmetrics, and the use of social media for research promotion.
