I hope you had a wonderful summer and had opportunities to unplug and refresh.
As the new Director of the Office of Sustainability, it is my pleasure to cordially invite you to the kickoff of our Sustainable Futures Initiative. The Sustainable Futures Summit will occur on September 20 from 12-1:30.
Come learn about the office, the themes and principles that will guide our work, and, most importantly, meet other staff and faculty who are expanding knowledge and impact for global sustainability. The event features a guest appearance by Terri Givens, a Professor of Political Science at McGill University and formerly the CEO of the Center for Higher Education Leadership. She is also author of the book “Radical Empathy: Finding a Path to Bridging Racial Divides”.
