Fall '23 first year residence hall move-in will be spread over two days, the 24th and 25th of August. We expect this to greatly reduce the on-campus traffic and parking congestion that we have generally experienced on the Friday of move-in weekend. In an effort to make the drop-off process as efficient as possible for our new Huskies and their families, we are asking that employees who are working on campus those two days refrain (to the greatest extent reasonable) from parking in close proximity to the residential complexes.
HuskyGo shuttles will be running a modified version of Campus Loops 1 & 2 for the duration of move-in weekend (August 24-27). These routes will cover all residential complexes and commuter lots as well as Lot F. Employees who usually park near the complexes are encouraged to use Lot F on Thursday and Friday. Hours of operation for th shuttle service will be posted at Home | Transportation Services (uconn.edu).
