  • CPH-NEW Worker Well-being Emerging Issues Project

    We are pleased to announce CPH-NEW’s request for applications for the 2023 Emerging Issues Project. Proposals are invited to fund one 1-year project with a budget of $13,000. Topics must address worker well-being and are responsive to the areas outlined in the request:

    • Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion as applied to occupational health and safety
    • Remote and/or non-standard work arrangements
    • Impact on worker well-being of new industries, technologies, or structural or policy changes
    • Worker mental health
    • Innovations in research methods
    • Innovations in community or worker engagement

    UConn Health, UConn Storrs, and/or UMass Lowell faculty, staff and/or students are eligible to apply. Applications are due by 9/8/2023. Optional pre-application assistance is available, but requests must be received at least two weeks in advance of the application deadline.  

    Our aim for this project is to address emerging research needs and possibly engage new researchers in our center.
