The University of Connecticut’s Avery Point Campus seeks adjunct instructors for 1000-level writing courses provided by the English department, including ENGL 10007S, a first-year writing course capped at 15 students that offers additional support for students who may struggle with college-level writing. Opportunities may be available for both semesters of the upcoming academic year (2023-24).
Applicants should have an M.A. in English or a related field, ideally with some graduate coursework in rhetoric/composition and recent experience teaching at the college level.
