More About Spring Valley Student Farm

Spring Valley Student Farm (SVSF) is a small vegetable farm where eleven undergraduate students live and work to grow produce for UConn’s Dining Services. SVSF is dedicated to modeling effective regenerative farming techniques that yield healthy productive soil, increased farm biodiversity, and hundreds of varieties of vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers. We provide hands-on learning and volunteer opportunities to students, faculty, staff, and the greater Mansfield community. SVSF is a vibrant community dedicated to caring thoughtfully for each other and the land we farm.
