  • 6/15 Men's Health Matters Webinar

In honor of National Men's Health Month, join Deer Oaks EAP & Human Resources for the Men's Health Matters Webinar.

    Tomorrow, Thursday, June 15th, 2023, 12pm - 1:00pm

There’s a common perception that men hate to go to the doctor and won’t go, even if they’re feeling sick. This theory has persisted throughout the years. But is it true? Unfortunately, this premise is sound: men do not go to the doctor if they are feeling well. A study has proven that being proactive about health, including accessing preventive services, is the key to living a long and healthy life. So why don’t more men access preventive care?

In this session, we will be discussing the importance of men’s mental and physical health and how they can start taking care of their health right away .

     Join this session to:

•Understand why men’s health is important

    •Understand adult men’s behaviors

•Understand the common men’s health issues to watch out for

•Understand men’s physical activity and sleep patterns

•Explore men’s stress and mental health, including how to tackle stigma around men’s mental health.
